Communicative English and Literacy
Dr.. Ellangothai is Guest Lecturer, Department of English, Aringar Anna Government College of Arts and Science, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. She received PhD degree in English from Avinashilingam University for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in 2021. She has published ten papers in reputed University Grants Commission journals, presented thirty papers in national and international conferences, participated in many workshops on different topics like leadership training, personality development, soft skills, communicative skills, employability skills, and home management. She has contributed a chapter to a book titled “An Interdisciplinary Approach to Literature”.
She has won numerous awards and prizes in oratorical, essay writing, and Braille reading and writing competitions. She is a winner of Srikalabharati and Kovai Wonder Woman awards. Ellangothai has passion for teaching and started her career as a communication trainer in Karna Vidya Foundation, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is an English communication consultant to Innervison Foundation, Coimbatore, teaching visually impaired students.
After completing her school education from Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for the Blind, Chennai, she joined Avinashilingam University for Women and earned her BA, MA and PhD degrees in English. She has passed the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted on behalf of University Grants Commission for determining the eligibility for teaching and research in Indian Universities and Colleges.
She is a regular contributor on YouTube giving motivational talks through story telling in Tamil (Elangothi's YouTube Channel).
