With over eight years of experience with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with an overall experience of over 15+ years working in Industry and NGO’s, Vinod is Currently working as Usability Testing specialist at TCS.

Vinod has a postgraduate degree in social work from the Madras School of Social Work, BA in Economics, Diploma in NGO Management, certificates in HTML & Web Accessibility, Diploma in Python, and is a Certified Trusted Tester for web on windows.

Vinod is affiliated to Inaiathendral Trust, Chennai. inaiathendral is a virtual university for person with disability and provides YouTube (@inaiathendral4165) training courses. Vinod is an Adviser for the Technology Committee  of All India Confederation of the Blind (www.aicb.org.in) and a Chennai Advisory Board Member of Sarthak Educational Trust (www.sarthakindia.org).

Vinod was awarded as a Best HR Manager by Saksham International, Puducherry in 2020 and a person of eminence in IT sector at The Indian Association for the Blind (IAB) Madurai, Tamil Nadu in 2012. He is invited by various organization as a motivational speaker to inspire and empower the visually impaired to become active members of the society.

His accomplishments Include:

• Setting up Computer course for Lotus Charitable Trust for Women, Chennai

• Building a website for persons with visual impairment, first of its kind in Tamil Nadu.

• Actively participated in making various applications like EyeD pro, Uber, OLA Cabs, Envision AI, ICan, Insta Reader, Swiggy, etc., accessible friendly to screen readers.

• Instrumental in making IRCTC and Tamil Nadu virtual university’s portals accessible for Visually Impaired.

• Active user of torchIt, Ausion, and various other smart devices with feedback given to the creators to make the devices user friendly for visually impaired.

• Training visually impaired across Tamil Nadu on Computer/Software technology.
